1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SCOTUS.wiki, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or related services.

2. Permitted use

SCOTUS.wiki is provided for lawful personal, editorial, research, educational, and product use. You agree not to misuse the site or interfere with other people’s access to it.

  • Do not violate applicable law or regulation.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or data.
  • Do not scrape, overload, or disrupt the service in a way that harms availability or reliability.
  • Do not impersonate us, misrepresent your affiliation, or use the site to deceive other people.

3. Content and intellectual property

The product design, software, branding, copy, and original content on SCOTUS.wiki are owned by PLEJ LLC or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Government opinions, filings, transcripts, dockets, and other source records may be subject to separate rights, restrictions, or public-domain status depending on the source.

4. User submissions

If you submit feedback, prompts, account profile information, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

We may use feedback and product suggestions without restriction or compensation to improve the service.

5. AI-assisted features

SCOTUS.wiki may offer AI-assisted summaries, classifications, or explanations for Supreme Court material. Those features are designed to help readers understand public records, not replace official sources or professional advice.

  • AI-generated output is not official government information and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
  • You should verify important facts against the underlying official source material before relying on them.
  • AI output does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
  • We may store prompts, responses, and related metadata to operate the service, enforce limits, investigate abuse, and improve quality.
  • You must not submit highly sensitive information through AI features unless we clearly tell you a specific workflow is meant for that purpose.

6. Paid features and subscriptions

Some features may be subject to usage caps, credits, subscriptions, or one-time purchases. If you buy a paid feature, you agree to pay the listed price and any applicable taxes.

Recurring subscriptions continue until canceled. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable except as stated at the time of purchase or otherwise agreed by us.

7. Availability and disclaimers

SCOTUS.wiki is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every record, summary, or feature will be complete, accurate, or current.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PLEJ LLC and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of SCOTUS.wiki.

9. Changes to these terms
